Great Whore That Sits Upon Many Waters

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Revelation 17: 1-5

And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the women is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.  Revelation 17: 15-18

Seven Heads And Ten Horns: Once again the Bible mentions seven heads and ten horns. These seven heads represent seven great empires that ruled the Middle East, with the seventh head representing the British Empire, that ruled over the Middle East following World War I, with the defeat of Turkey, and the Ottoman Islamic Empire. The Ten Horns are ten nation/provinces that were formed by Great Britain in the Middle East following World War I, which also involved treaties with France, under the guidance of the League of Nations. These ten nation/provinces now form eight nations of the Middle East. These are the ten horns of Daniel & Revelation: Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey, Persia now called Iran, Egypt, (Basra, Baghdad and Mosul)  = Iraq.
Daniel 7: 7-8 / 23-25.

Global Economy Ruled By A Great City: Babylon was an ancient center of trade and rich in wealth and merchandise. Mystery Babylon is therefore 'symbolic' of a great nation city existing in the end times, possessing enormous wealth, and also the center of world trade. The women represents this great city that rules over the kings = nations of the Earth, by dominating the global economy in later times, and the whore represents it's merchandising. The waters represent the global economy through which the nations of the earth conduct their trade.

New York City and Wall Street now dominate the global economy, and have been the center of world trade since World War II. This coincides perfectly with the biblical description of the great city represented by the women labeled Mystery Babylon. The great whore that sits upon many waters symbolizes trade and the sale of goods to the people, multitudes, and nations of the entire world that is ruled over by Mystery Babylon.

Global Economic/Financial Troubles In The Final Days - We find reference to global financial and economic troubles in the final days before the arrival of the Kingdom of God. Through calamity involving strife with the Ten Kingdoms of the Middle East, the great city Babylon, and the global economy represented by the whore that sits upon many waters, are brought to ruin in the final days. "For in one hour so great riches is come to naught. " and "The merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more." The (merchants of the earth) = global economy "And (no man buys their merchandise anymore)" = global economic collapse. Rev. 18: 11.

Revelation 17: 16-17.

The Ten Kingdoms Hate The Whore: The whore represents Mystery Babylon, that controls merchandizing and the sale of goods within the global economy. The Ten Kingdoms are hateful of Mystery Babylon, and work together to destroy it. In the process they also bring about a global economic collapse. The Beast that ascends from the bottomless pit gains control of an eighth empire in the later days before the arrival of the Kingdom of God, which then becomes the Beast Empire. The Ten Kingdoms give their power and strength to this Beast Empire while at the same time working to destroy the Great Whore, Mystery Babylon. Why if the Ten Kingdoms hate the whore do they at the same time give their power and strength to the Beast Empire?

The Ten Kingdoms now exist within eight major nations of the Middle East. Most of these Ten Kingdoms give their power and strength to the United States by virtue of oil, and the fact that oil is traded only in U.S. Dollars, making the U.S. Dollar the world's reserve currency, which gives the United States it's power as a global empire. At the same time, the war on terrorism, the military occupation of Iraq, the economic sanctions against Iran, and the U.S alliance with Israel, are causing great animosity amongst the people within the Ten Kingdoms, and causing great hatred of the United States, and the financial empire over which it rules = Wall Street Banks & the U.S. Corporate Ruling Structure. This is the cause of a rising insurgency within the Middle East Nations that seek to destroy the United States, and it's global empire, and in so doing are also bringing about the demise of the global economic system over which it presides.

Middle East War Will Destroy The World Economy: If we apply this prophecy to current events it becomes obvious that the United States is now become the Beast Empire of biblical renown. The beast that ascends from the bottomless pit has covertly taken control of the United States, and now secretly rules it's government and Presidents, no matter who attains the office. This has become apparent in the transformation of the United States since 2001, from a more peaceful nation, to a war like nation that seeks to expand it's military might around the globe. This transformation to a militarist empire will bring about a global economic collapse as follows:

(1) A Middle East War: With a global financial/economic crisis already underway, it is quite conceivable that a greater war in the Middle East would worsen the situation by putting additional strain on an already devalued dollar, cause disturbances to an already weak global economy, or cause massive disruption of the global oil supply. Such an event could be the outcome of a preemptive military strike on Iran, or a greater destabilization of the nations within the Middle East and nearby region - Afghanistan and Pakistan. This would further polarize the Muslim world against the United States, and draw the Ten Kingdoms into a more direct conflict, resulting in the cessation of oil through the Persian Gulf, either by war and the destruction of these resources, or by a unified movement against the U.S.

(2) A move by the Ten Kingdoms/O.P.E.C. out of the dollar: Oil is denominated in U.S. Dollars, and gives the dollar it's strength, and makes it the world's reserve currency. The Ten Kingdoms of the Middle East hold vast amounts of U.S. Dollar assets, in the form of bonds and treasuries. If the Ten Kingdoms were to suddenly dump their holdings of U.S. denominated assets, and the O.P.E.C nations of the world, controlled mainly by these same Middle East Nations, should suddenly decide to sell oil in a basket of currencies, other than the U.S. Dollar, then the U.S. Dollar, and the global economy over which it dominates would be brought to ruin.

The effect on Wall Street and the global economy already in trouble with a banking and credit crisis would be devastating. Energy prices would immediately rise. The value of the dollar would plummet resulting in a panic run on dollar assets that would collapse the Federal Reserve System. The United States and it's global banking system centered in New York City and Wall Street would be brought to financial ruin almost over night. As a result, the global economy dependant on the United States would also collapse just as biblically foretold.

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. Revelation 18: 11-19
